The Alaska Historical Society is pleased to announce the results of its 2011 Board of Directors election.  Please join us in welcoming new board members and officers.

Elected to terms ending in 2014 are Jeff Dickrell (Unalaska), Michael Hawfield (Homer), Zachary Jones (Juneau), Kathryn Myers (Anchorage) and Katherine Ringsmuth (Anchorage). 

Peter Gorman (Sitka) has been appointed to a term ending in 2013 and Anjuli Grantham (Kodiak) has been appointed to a term ending in 2012.

The Society thanks outgoing board members Bridget Burke (Fairbanks), Doug Capra (Seward), Glenn Cook (Juneau) and Candy Waugaman (Fairbanks) for their service.

At the regular meeting of the Board of Directors on Saturday, September 25, 2011, members elected the following officers:

Ross Coen, President
Andrew Goldstein, Vice-President
Michael Hawfield, Treasurer
Anjuli Grantham, Secretary
